What time is the Aurora in Norway?

The aurora does not work to a time table.

Auroral displays occur following an eruption on the sun. A stream of protons is ejected from the sun and travels into space at very high speed. When they approach the earth, our magnetic field diverts them towards the (magnetic) north and south poles. When they enter the ionosphere they interact with the gases up there. This is what causes the glow of an aurora.

When these events will occur is something that we don't (and can't) know. All we can say is that the more sunspot activity there is on the sun, the more likely an aurora is.

The aurora is spectacular at night, but not bright enough to be seen in daylight. You are therefore more likely to see one in winter because the nights are longer.
