There is no official time for trick-or-treating to start. Usually, the neighborhood would give a set time for when trick-or-treating should start. If not, the usual time is around 6 p.m. when it's late enough so that everyone is home and everyone had time to eat dinner.
In Dresden, Ohio, trick-or-treating typically takes place on Halloween night from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. However, it's always a good idea to check with local announcements or community boards for any changes or specific details for the current year. Safety precautions and guidelines may also be updated annually.
The exact time that trick-or-treating starts depends on what community you live in. Some states or communities have special rules stating that trick-or-treating cannot be late.
