Not sure but just wanted to comment that Psilocybe Cubensis are a fungi that grow wild. Not a drug sythesized in a lab like the other commenter would like you to believe. There are many benefits to magic mushrooms and tend to grow in the spring and more humid times of the year.
September, Octoberish... autumn, same as everywhere else.
The time you can grow mushrooms is when its most humid around where your living
early September to mid october (well that's magic mushrooms atleast!)
Mushrooms are the reproductive structures of fungi, which have an underground network called mycelium. This mycelium can remain dormant during unfavorable conditions and then produce mushrooms when conditions are right. As long as the mycelium is alive and healthy, mushrooms can continue to grow back each year.
there are a wide variety of age groups that are involved with magic mushrooms, but the most active are among the 14 to 25 year old range.
It is unknown how many people have died from overdose on Psilocybin/ hallucinatory mushrooms. Usually people are injured or killed while experiencing "a bad trip" or negative psychological reaction to ingestion of the mushrooms.
From experience, In the UK and Ireland expect to see them in Autumn. So start looking by late September for potential locations. Possibly peeking in mid- late October. I have even found them as late as early December (only once though and i was very surprised and had giving up my picking long before it.). the season usually comes to an end after a frost sets into the ground. hope for heavy rainfall during the mushroom session. Best times to go if it has rained for 2-3 days straight. Once the rain stops and the sun comes out you will spot bags of them a mile away as they change from their wet dark colour to a dryer white. Good luck
The mushrooms are likely growing from spores that are present in the soil. These spores can remain dormant until conditions are favorable for growth, such as the right temperature and moisture levels. When the lawn is mowed, the visible part of the mushroom (the fruiting body) is destroyed, but the underground mycelium network remains intact, allowing the mushrooms to regrow from the same spot each year. This cycle of growth and destruction is common in fungi that reproduce through spores.
It is fine to eat fresh magic mushrooms. Mushrooms are dried so they can be stored for much longer periods of time. It is extremely important to properly identify any mushroom before you ingest it.
All vegetables technically grow during the night but if you mean vegetables that grow in the night for a year in the dark there is none except mushrooms if you consider them a vegetable
It's two years old, and magical. What, you were expecting to double in height like Mario? No. It's common sense to anybody that such mushrooms are highly dangerous and must be treated as radioactive substances.
I grow my radishes in the fall.
