What was Pandora's job?

Pandora didn't have a job. She was created for a purpose, though, which was to being misery upon man. You see, When Prometheus stole fire back from the gods and gave it to men again, he also taught them how to make it for themselves, thus preventing Zeus from denying his children their reward again. We all know Prometheus was punished, but Zeus wanted to punish men as well, for accepting the gift.

So, Zeus created the first woman. She was gifted by the gods with beauty, grace and everything else so that men would desire to have her among them. She also carried with her a sealed box, having been told by Hermes never to open it. Eventually, her curiosity got the better of her and she opened the box, releasing all manner of evil and hardship upon mankind. Quickly closing the box, all that remained was Hope, which was eventually freed to help cure the ills her cousins inflict.
