The manatee has a live birth
There are many areas to view manatee nests in Florida. The Miami river is a good spot. DO NOT DISTURB MANATEE NESTS! The eggs are very fragile and will not hatch if they are rotated in the nests.
A manatee is viviparous, as it is a mammal and gives live birth (so doesn't lay eggs - oviparous).
Shrimp do not give birth. They lay eggs to reproduce. A single female can lay up to a million eggs.

There are three species that are listed as "vulnerable" with populations decreasing, by the IUCN Red List. They are the South American Manatee (Amazonian), West Indian Manatee, and the West African Manatee. The US Fish and Wildlife Service Endangered Species List has the West African Manatee also listed as "threatened", and the West Indian Manatee, and the Amazonian Manatee, also known as the South American Manatee, both listed as "endangered".
