Atlanta Datagraphic was created in 1979.
It was originally formed from the vast talent playing around the northside of Atlanta. David M Scheerer, who worked for George Baker (owner of Datagraphic) and also played soccer in the northside of Atlanta, approached George D Baker and convinced Mr. Baker that he (Mr. Scheerer) could assemble the best players from the league in Atlanta if Datagraphic would pay for uniforms, insurance and travel for the players. George happily agreed and that was the beginning of Atlanta Datagraphic. Soon after word got out about the sponsorship, the best players from around Atlanta tried to join the team.
