Many Christians believe that one day the world will end and Jesus will return, to defeat evil and judge everyone who has ever lived. This event is sometimes called the end of times, or the parousia.
The end of times must have been an Indo-Iranian concept, because it figures prominantly in Zoroastrian and Hindu beliefs from the earliest times. At some stage, the concept entered Judaic belief and the "War Scrolls", found amongst the Dead Sea Scolls at Qumran, refers to the battle that the Essenes believed will occur at the end of times.
The author of the Gospel According to St Mark predicted the end of times within the lifetime of Jesus' contemporaries, and probably before 74 CE. Mark 13:2 first has Jesus predict the destruction of the Temple, "And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou those great buildings? There shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down." According to Mark (13:24-26), Jesus went on later to tell the disciples that they would personally experience social turmoil and persecution, there would be earthquakes and "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken and then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory." He concluded by saying, "Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done." An oblique reference to the Book of Daniel implies that the predicted end of times would occur within about four years of the destruction of the Temple. Subsequent gospels, written after 74 CE, referred more generally to the end of times but placed it somewhere in the indefinite future.
You can't, and you will have no wish to. Heaven is the fulfillment of all desire, it is union with God. Once you are in heaven, you are no longer in time, but in eternity. The earth, as we know it, is strictly in time, and will end, and then everyone will either be in heaven or hell. At that point, God will create a new heaven and a new earth, but there is no return to this damaged one.
The number period 66,666 yrs I believe is just an estimate. Only GOD knows when "JESUS" will return to Earth.
nobody knows when the 2nd coming will take place.
Return to Earth was created in 2006.
The dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it. ECCLESIASTES 12:7
ad terram redeō = (I) return to earth.
Jesus Christ was resurrected by God The Father on the third day after His death. He is now in Heaven seated at Right Hand of God and will return to Earth in glory.
Earth is not named after a god, it was named after God when he built the earth.
Return to the Centre of the Earth was created in 1999.
A:This is a matter of faith. If you believe that God exists and has promised to return, you should believe that he will return. Others belive differently.
God created the earth as a home for His spirit children. We were given mortal bodies, told to multiply and replenish the earth and to obey every word which proceeded forth from the mouth of God. It is a place where we will be without the presence of God, but will live by faith alone and by our good works. Here we are taught the gospel as delivered to us by God's prophets to guide us back to His presence. It is like a great school room where we are taught all that will help us return to that home from whence we came. If we are found to be worthy here we will receive all that God can reward us with when we return to Him.
The Egyptian god of earth was Geb.
