I believe that Fair Lawn was home to the first NJ McDonald's, so presumably it was in the fifties, early sixties. Beyond that, I'd like to know myself...
I'm pretty sure it was 1959 on Rt. 18 in East Brunswick. Me and a couple of friends were the first customers on opening day !
