Bermuda customs originate from a blend of British colonial influence and local traditions. The British established customs practices during their colonial rule, which were adapted over time to fit Bermuda's unique cultural and social context. Additionally, the island's geographical location and history of trade have contributed to its distinctive customs and practices, including a focus on hospitality and community. Today, Bermuda customs reflect a fusion of British heritage and Caribbean influences.
HM Customs (Her Majesty's Customs Department) is the government agency in Bermuda tasked with collecting taxes on imported goods, as well as with preventing the importation of contraband (eg. illegal drugs, weapons, and pornography).
Yes!
Bermuda
Yes, flying from Georgia, USA, to Bermuda is considered international travel. Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory located in the North Atlantic Ocean, and as such, it is outside the jurisdiction of the United States. Travelers will need to go through customs and may require a passport for entry into Bermuda.
Both. US Customs, Immigration and Agriculture pre-clear passengers in Bermuda before boarding flights to the US, so they are treated like domestic passengers when arriving in the US. They must go through normal border controls before boarding the flight, however. Freight shipped on the same flight will, as far as I am aware, be treated as international freight, having not been pre-cleared in Bermuda. Passengers flying to Bermuda from the US must clear HM Customs and Bermuda Immigration on arrival.

Cape Hatteras, NC is the closest part of the US to Bermuda. The major airports that fly to Bermuda in NC are Charlotte and Raleigh, which are further inland. With NYC being right on the coast, it must be just a bit quicker.

I don't know, but I wish I did. These days, people, ships, planes & helicopters are mysteriously disappearing because of it. :( I hope I never come upon the Bermuda Triangle. :(

Countless things have gone through the Bermuda triangle, not many have come out in one piece due to mysterious unexpected storms and strange dissappearances.
