I am looking for Jackie King too, because I was a fan of hers in the early 1980s when she was an anchor on KTTV here in Los Angeles... I absolutely loved her warm and friendly smile whenever she would sign off each day at the close of the news... I entered the service in 1982, and the last time I saw her was in the late 1980s, after I got out. She was talking about a book that she had published that documented a difficult childhood, harassment by some T.V. boss, etc. Who could have guessed that there was so much pain behind that pretty smile? That was the last time I saw her, the late 1980s... I often wonder what ever happened to her? If you or anyone finds out, let me know... I hope that she is doing O.K.? Media can be tough on older ladies so far as work, etc. I guess she'd be in her 50s by now?
