Where is the Yorkville area of Manhattan?

Yorkville, like Sutton Place and Carnegie Hill, is a sub-neighborhood of the Upper East Side. It runs west to east from 3rd Avenue to the East River, and north to south from 96th Street to 86th Street, 72nd Street or 59th Street (depending on who you ask). Most of Manhattan's neighborhoods and sub-neighborhoods do not have precise boundaries, and Yorkville is no exception.

The Upper East Side runs south/north from 59th Street to 96th Street, and west/east from 5th Avenue to the East River. It is one of the few Manhattan neighborhoods that DOES have precise boundaries.
