As of March 3, 2011 the most recent tornado to strike Minnesota was an EF0 near of the town of Dalbo in the east central part of the state on July 30, 2011. Two other EF0 tornadoes touched down in Minnesota early that same day, one in Todd county in the center of the state and another in Traverse County, near the state line with North and South Dakota.
