Hawa Mahal, also known as the "Palace of Winds," was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, who was the ruler of Jaipur at the time. The palace was designed by architect Lal Chand Ustad and features a unique façade with 953 small windows, or jharokhas, allowing royal women to observe street festivities without being seen. Its distinctive honeycomb structure is a blend of Rajput and Islamic architectural styles.
