  • Smedley Darlington Butler, Major General, USMC who won the Medal of Honor at Vera Cruz Mexico in 1914, his second in 1915 in Haiti and because of the rules in place at the time (as a Marine Corps Officer he was inelligible to receive the Medal of Honor) he was awarded the Marine Corps Brevet Medal (only twenty were ever issued) which was the highest possible award to a Marine Officer for his service during the Boxer Rebellion in 1900. Mark that down as three (3) Medals of Honor, for three different engagements. (They called him the fighting Quaker.)
  • James Buchanan the 15th President of the US.
