That depends on where you are. In some countries, being female precludes you from voting; in others, being a criminal stops you; in still others, being mentally disabled can prevent you from exercising the right to vote.
The only requirements to vote everywhere are to be a citizen and to be of a minimum age. You also have to be 18 or older to vote .Back in the day women couldn't vote and now they still have that in some other countries, but not in America, thank god, because women should have the right to vote. Just like the saying, America's a free country.
