As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, the President of Egypt is Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who has been in power since 2014. While he is not officially titled a dictator, his government has been characterized by authoritarian practices, including crackdowns on dissent and limited political freedoms. El-Sisi initially came to power after leading the military coup that ousted President Mohamed Morsi in 2013.
