Iapetos: the pillar of the west, "the piercer" may also have been regarded as the Titan god of the mortal life-span.
The father of Prometheus is Iapetus. He was also the father of Atlas.
Prometheus is his father
Prometheus is his father
Prometheus is the brother of Menoetius, Atlas, and Epimetheus. His father was Lapetus the Titan and his mother was Clymene, an elemental Oceanid.
According to Greek mythology, yes.
Iapetus.
Yes he is. One of the very first in fact, son of Gaia (earth) and Uranus (Sky) and father of Prometheus. He and his younger brother, Cronus, were regarded as the strongest of the Titans.
Iapetus the Titan was his father. Clymene the Oceanid was his mother. he also has 3 brothers, Atlas, Menoetius and Epimetheus. :)
Prometheus.
Prometheus' father is definitely Iapetus. Different records say different things but it is narrowed down to being either Clemyne or Themis being the mother. I'm not sure but you will probably find more things pointing to Themis. It is really what you want to believe i guess at this point but i had to do a report on Prometheus and I said the mother was Themis and i wasn't marked down or anything. Sorry! Hope i could be at least a little help!
Deucalion was considered worthy of being called the son of Prometheus because he inherited his father's intelligence and resourcefulness. Prometheus, known for his foresight and as a benefactor of humanity, gifted Deucalion with the knowledge needed to survive the great flood sent by Zeus. Deucalion's ability to construct an ark and preserve human life demonstrated his wisdom and resilience, traits that reflect Prometheus's legacy. Additionally, his role in repopulating the Earth after the flood further solidified his connection to Prometheus’s ideals of hope and renewal.
If your talking about the film prometheus then no it doesn't have a family because prometheus is the ship.
