Not much. Sonora is above Sacramento. You take highway 49 up there. I have never measured it, but my guess is 50-75 miles. While there go to Columbia State Park. It is 6 miles from Sonora and a gold rush town. They filmed High Noon there in the 50's, and it has shops, places to eat, a nice picinic area, and can be a nice way to spend an afternoon. Sonora is also nice and has some cool shops along the main street.
it is about 6 hours and 3 minutes and about 359 miles long. I found this on mapquest
that would be approximately 160 mile
