The reason that Newfounlands drool is that it is the way sweats comes of them. Unlike the human which sweat comes off our head and underarms theres comes out of there mouth but is drool. NEWFOUNDLANDS ARE THE BEST DOGS EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No they are definitely not. While they might be loyal and intelligent dogs, they shed a lot and drool all over the place. If you have allergies I don't recommend this breed.
Here are some causes and suggested treatments: Breeding: Bloodhounds, Newfoundlands, mastiffs, and Saint Bernards are breeds with loose upper lips or “flews,” causing them to drool more than others. ... Mouth disease and tooth decay: Tarter buildup can rub against the inside of your dog's lip, causing drool.
there are about 2 million newfoundlands in the world
