Fig trees flourish on Java due to the island's tropical climate, which provides warm temperatures and ample rainfall, creating ideal growing conditions. The rich volcanic soil also contributes to their growth by supplying essential nutrients. Additionally, the diverse ecosystem of Java offers a variety of pollinators and symbiotic organisms that enhance the fig trees' reproductive success. These factors combined make Java an optimal environment for fig tree development.
