The sun's temperature does not change anywhere on earth. The effect of the sun's warmth, however, can be affected by earth-based environmental conditions.

In Antarctica, which is polar, the sun is not always visible with days, weeks and some months in some locations where the sun does not rise.

Both polar extremes on earth are colder than more inhabited locations.
