Now to train your budgie not to bite it's pretty simple, put your gloves on so if he/she bites you it wont hurt. Now hold your budgie with one hand if it bites you flick it's beak (It really works) but not to hard. Then keep on doing it for 5 min. Keep on doing it every day for 5 min or more. Then if it doesn't bites anymore leave he/she alone for 2 days.
Your parakeet may be biting the other parakeet due to territorial behavior, establishing dominance, or playfulness. Birds often engage in beak biting as a form of social interaction, which can sometimes escalate into aggression. It’s essential to monitor their interactions to ensure that the biting doesn't lead to injury. If the behavior is persistent or aggressive, consider separating them or providing additional space and resources to reduce competition.
The upside of having a parakeet is you have a bird with colorful feathers. The downside is incessant squawking and screeching, biting, and parakeet food scattered all over the floor.
It steps up willingly and trusts you. You can have it on your hand without it biting and pet the bird calmly

A full grown parakeet is usually no more than six inches tall. Make sure not to confuse a parakeet wit a budgerigar (budgie for short), which looks very similar to a parakeet, but is not the same exact thing as a parakeet and are taller than the average parakeet.
