I myself do a lot of origami, not only is it a great way to pass time but it is really fun! I like to learn different types of origami and perfect it, I enjoy comparing what i started out with (a piece of paper) and then seeing the finished product.

Origami instructions are protected by copyright. The act of folding origami is not. So, you wouldn't be in trouble for creating any sort of crane or flower or building. It should be noted that you can create your own origami instructions as long as it is your own creation and the text and images are made by you too.

I do believe the plural for 'origami' is 'origami' much like the word 'deer' it stays the same irregardless. "I have lots of origami"
