You will learn a lot about those cultures and it will help you to understand them and even help you understand your own more. You will get to see and do things that you might never do if you never travelled. There are many famous places that you've heard about, read about, seen on TV but have never been to. It is great to actually be in many of those places. You can then say to people "I was there" and tell them all about it. You might find you'd like to live in Another Country because you have a better standard of living, or have a better job, or maybe you will meet someone special and want to visit them or settle down with them in their country. The reasons for travelling are endless. If you haven't been to other countries, then make sure you do get to some.
