I would be glad to answer the question if I understood what was being asked! "Stretched out"? ? Antarctica is rather circular in map view, especially with its ice covering.
The ice sheets of west Antarctica actually cover a series of islands, rather like Hawaii. So if the ice sheets melted, the islands would be visible in the ocean.
