Infact, the Queen's historical visit to Ireland a couple of months back resulted in an agreement permitting all UK Visa holders (all tiers, and regardless of nationality) to enter Ireland (if your purpose is tourism) without the need for an Irish Visa. P.S. Irish Border Agents reserve the right to refuse entry and send you back to the UK on the next available flight.
