The state that intersects both the Indian Standard Meridian (82.5° E) and the Tropic of Cancer (approximately 23.5° N) is Madhya Pradesh. This intersection is significant as it lies at the heart of India, contributing to the state's geographic and climatic diversity. The Tropic of Cancer passes through several other states, but Madhya Pradesh is notable for this particular intersection with the Indian Standard Meridian.
