Bears leave marks on trees to communicate with other bears, mark their territory, and sharpen their claws.
Yes, bears are known to leave scratch marks on trees.
Tigers leave scent marks, and claw trees, and roar to let others know their territory is occupied.
you click on some pom trees. and mama bears house i dont know?
No... Unlike you boys we know how to whipe...
Bears mark their territory so other bears know to keep away. It is very important so the bears can survive and have enough food for the winter hibernation. It is also important so that other bears can tell if it's male or female, strong or weak so they can tell to stay away or invade.
i don't know because i havent been murdered?!?!
If it doesn't leave marks on your nice floor, it's non-marking
Not sure if that's one reason, but I do know that they use the trees like cats use scratching posts, they scratch the trees with their claws so that all they will sharpen, and therefore, be more useful.
