To set up a lock on Samsonite luggage, locate the small reset button on the lock. Press and hold the button while setting your desired combination. Release the button to save the new combination. Make sure to test the lock before using it to ensure it is set up correctly.
On the side of the lock, you will see a small button. Use the end of a pen and push it in, set the lock to the numbers you want then push up on the lock release. The lock is now set.
I recommend a Samsonite. It's gone through some rough times with me and the durability has held up well. Samsonite luggage is usually great for durability and style so I'd go with that.

yes, but if you lock anything up on the plane, you will probably get arrested. Also if you lock your bags with a padlock, TSA will most likely hack it off.
