Issued visas have a code that is a combination of alphanumeric numbers. Usually, this is preceded by the country initials, and is written (1) on the upper right side or on the border of the visa, (2) in a color different from the rest of the visa text.
Example:
TH678901 = This means the visa was issued in the Thailand consular office, visa number is 678901
Your visa number is typically not located on your border crossing card, as this card is primarily used for travel between the U.S. and Mexico. Instead, your visa number is found on your visa itself, which is usually a separate document affixed to your passport. If you need to find your visa number, check the visa page in your passport where it will be labeled as "Visa Number" or "Control Number."
The Canadian Visa number is in the top right corner of the visa. You can locate this number easily as it is directly under the document number.
It can be find in the entry permit.
