Yes, 10 mph is considered windy for the beach. It can create strong gusts of wind and potentially make it uncomfortable for beachgoers.
A wind speed of 5-10 mph would be considered a light breeze, not windy. Wind speeds are generally classified as follows: calm (0-3 mph), light breeze (4-7 mph), moderate breeze (8-12 mph), gentle breeze (13-18 mph), and so on.
The average wind velocity varies by location and can range from less than 1 mph in calm areas to over 30 mph in windy regions. Global average wind speeds are approximately 7-10 mph.

You can determine if it's too windy for a campfire by observing wind speeds and gusts. Generally, if winds exceed 10-15 mph, it may be risky to start a fire, as strong winds can spread flames and embers. Additionally, if you notice flames flickering vigorously or if sparks are being carried away by the wind, it's best to postpone the fire. Always check local fire regulations and conditions before making a decision.

Actually if you didn't even know that if its windy it's actually better than breezy because if its a really hot day and it goes up to 110 degrees and there is no wind just like 5 mph of wind and you want to cool off of the air. Then if its like 20 mph winds on a scorching hot day it's better... but if its a cool day like 71 degrees its not good! it should just be like 10 mph or 15 mph or it goes down to about 50 degrees in winter and its super windy not even a tiny bit good because you get more cold if its about 60 or 50 degrees.
