well, all i know is that its South East for some reason because I checked on another site and thats what it said. I wish there was answers for this book ur getting the question off cause im doing the same one. So uve probably already found the answer
90 degrees from North would be East, then another 45 degrees from that would bring it halfway to South. Therefore, 135 degrees clockwise from North is Southeast.
Southeast
135
East-facing azimuth = 90°Northwest-facing azimuth = 315°To turn from east-facing to northwest facing, you turn 225° to the right (clockwise).
A compass bearing of 135 degrees points southeast.
When calculating a bearing, azimuthal notation refers to the angle of the bearing from North, measured clockwise. Quadrant notation takes the bearing from north or south with a change to west or east. For example, Quadrant notation: SE = Azimuth notation of 135 degrees.
135 degrees
The coordinates 35 degrees north and 135 degrees east correspond to Japan.
Az 135 degrees.
Third quadrant. From the origin (0,0) and on the positive x-axis. Move an arrow/line clockwise from this axis by 135 degrees. The first 90 degrees are in the bottom right (4th)quandrant. The next 90 degrees(to 180 degrees ; includes 135) will be in the bottom left (3rd) quadrant. NB From the positive x-axis ,moving anti-clockwise about the origin the angles are positive. When moving clockwise from the same axis the angles are negative.
Sea of Japan.
That point is on the island of Honshu, about 42 miles west of the center of Kyoto, in Japan.
