Marines typically receive their uniforms as part of their initial training and upon completion of basic training. They are issued their uniforms and other necessary gear during the early stages of their training to ensure they are properly equipped for their duties and responsibilities. Additionally, Marines may receive additional uniforms and updates to their gear throughout their career as needed.

Their is a misconception that Marines get them free, Several years ago the Marines started including Blues with this initial issue. They also increased the amount a Marine had to pay to cover the cost.
