Yes, you can. There are tours of the White House available on a first-come, first-served basis. They are non-guided, and are available for groups of ten or more. Yes, but you can only visit the first floor of the White House. However, remember that you are in the President's residence. This is a big deal. You will probably only get to visit the red, blue and maybe green rooms. If you're really lucky it is possible to see the dining room on the first floor and the East Floor. Best of luck if you go to D.C.!!! You cannot go for a tour when the President is in the White House.
