I’m afraid that our manners have been assaulted by the "politically correct" movement if a statement is misunderstood as having a connotation that someone feels as inappropriate you could be fined or even arrested. you would have to let the people around you know where your boundrys lie a lady i once knew had an entire bar of rednecks myself included acitng like gentalmen if only while she was there out of respect for her kind nature
