You can't be sure of the position you will get when enlisting in the Marines or the Army. Taking the ASVAB will give you an idea of the job that you will be assigned to of if you may be selected as a scout sniper.
This depends on where you are. If you are in the US Marines, first an infantry soldier would become a scout sniper and then would go on to a more advanced course.
The abilities of each as shooters depends on the individual... whichever one is a better shot is going to be the better shot, no matter what branch they're in. As for Special Forces and Marine Scout Snipers, they're trained in rather different roles. A Marine Scout Sniper would not be trained in everything a Green Beret would be trained in, nor would a Green Beret have the same priorities in training as a Marine Scout Sniper.
if u mean what is the best map for sniping, i would say that is up to you to decide, but if you are talking about a map that has the least sniper, it would be small maps, mostly beacause they dont exactly stand a chance, which would give u an advantage to kill them.
It all depends on what you want to get out of it.It depends on what you're more interested in. Marine scout sniper would definitely be harder, because it's more centralized in one job. With airborne you'd only have basics and then a 3-week airborne course. That's about it. You could also get into an air assault course, but it's not really difficult or necessary even to get the patch. It's all on your personal preference. Either way, good luck. Hope i helped a little bit. If you're looking into scout sniper look up the show "surviving the cut." it has full episodes on youtube and shows the training you'll go through. Marine sniper is one specific episode.
They definitely would have had the M1903A6, the sniper version of the Springfield 1903, and possibly the sniper version of the M1 Garand. Both fired the .30-06 round. The M21 (sniper version of the M14) did not arrive until 1969, and the Remington M40 did not see service until 1966. In 1965 the most commonly used rifles were the M1903A6, M-1D Garand and the Winchester Model 70, all chambered in 30.06. By 1967-1968 the Winchester Model 70 was being replaced by the Remington 700 in .308.
To become a maritime sniper in the British Armed Forces, you typically need to join the Royal Marines or the British Army and complete their rigorous training programs. After basic training, you would need to pass the selection process for sniper training, which includes physical fitness tests, marksmanship skills, and tactical assessments. Once selected, you will undergo specialized sniper training, focusing on long-range shooting, reconnaissance, and fieldcraft. Additionally, maintaining high physical and mental standards is crucial throughout this process.
It depends on the number of Marines. The rifle belonging to a Marine would the Marine's rifle. If you are talking about multiple Marines it would be Semper Fi is the Marines' unofficial motto.
One can sign up for the Marines directly on the Marines website. Those in the United States for example would go onto the Marines website and contact a recruiter.
its a necklace which has a thread put through a hole drilled in round taken from a 7.62*51mm NATO cartridge (standard round for most us marine sniper rifles) (commercially a .308 winchester). its presented to us marines snipers on graduation from scout sniper school, thus becoming a HOG (hunter of gunmen). the philosophy is that there is a round meant for you and the hogs tooth represents that round and by wearing that necklace, the sniper assures himself that he has control over the round that is meant for him. the necklace (hogs tooth) actually represents the round which is in the chamber of the enemy's gun zeroing in at the sniper and right before the enemy could fire, the sniper fires and takes the enemy out. after that, if possible (given the battle scenario), the sniper would go down range, get hold of that enemy's rifle and eject that round which the enemy was about to fire, and then keep that round as a symbol that he has control over the round which is meant for him. (probably the round that has been recovered from the enemy's rifle is HOG's TOOTH in true sense of the phrase). i hope i have been to put it as clearly as i know it.
" A scout is trustworthy." Lying would certainly be a breach of values a scout leader is supposed to be modelling. Exactly what would happen would depend on the circumstances.
Marines are usually fighting in the sea, so if there were no marines, then there would be more attack's from other countries who came by using the sea.
No you see because hes fat bald and ugly and marines would pick on him.
