When a First Sergeant leaves, it'll either be because they've been relieved of duty, or are about to be promoted to Sergeant Major. Who replaces the First Sergeant depends on the availability. It may be a Master Sergeant transferred from a staff position, or it may be a Sergeant First Class who is about to be promoted to E-8. You won't find Master Sergeants in line companies - Master Sergeants are found in staff positions.

If they're in a supervisory position over the Sergeant, yes.
If you pay attention, it will tell you "You are being watched," then immediately after, a sparkle will appear over the place that he is hiding.
First he takes the cat over and leaves it. Second he takes the milk over and leaves it, then brings back the cat. Third he takes the dog over and leaves it with the milk. Fourth he takes the cat over.
A master is a controller or ruler over something or someone. In terms of individuals, a master is someone who "owns" or rules over someone else's life. Master can also be used to describe someone who has complete control over a skill or ability; ie a karate master.
In the first game, click on Snoopy and he will blow each leaf over into the pile. You have to move 5 leaves. In the second part (missing blanket), move the cursor over the leaf pile to blow them away.
Crazy Hand is mostly just Master Hand's answer to Luigi. He's got some odd attacks, but most of them are easy to dodge. For example, Master's "walking" attack for Crazy is a "crawling attack," which is more spread out, but leaves a lot more room over him which you can jump over. The best way to deal with Crazy is to get Master out of the way, as those team attacks can get very annoying to deal with. After that, just deal with Crazy Hand as you did for Master Hand, but adapt for his unique attacks.
There are several ranks of sergeants. Buck sergeants (three chevrons) and staff sergeants (three chevrons with one rocker) led squads, usually of about twelve men. A platoon had four squads. There was a platoon sergeant (three chevrons, two rockers), the top enlisted man in a platoon. The platoon commander was supposed to be an officer, a second lieutenant or a first lieutenant. Platoon leaders got killed a lot. Platoon leader was the single most lethal job of the war. When the lieutenant went down the platoon sergeant took over, until a new lieutenant was assigned. So, squad leaders reported to either the platoon sergeant or the platoon commander, and the platoon sergeant reported to the platoon commander, unless he had become the platoon commander. If the platoon sergeant was leading the platoon he met with the captain or the first lieutenant commanding the company, with the other platoon commanders, when officers were called to company HQ to discuss plans or receive orders.
