Short answer: No. The US Military branches permit, encourage, and support families; that is they provide support and benefits for the spouse and dependent children of service members. A girlfriend is another matter; one the US military branches do not officially recognize until elements of her existence in the life of the service member result in violations of military regulations. Short conclusion: If the service branch wanted for soldiers/sailors/airmen to have girlfriends, they would be on the standard issue.
