Yes. One result of Maxwell's equations is that electromagnetic flux cannot pass though a fully conducting enclosure. The enclosure doesn't need to be solid, necessarily, as long as the openings are "small" compared to the wavelength of the radiation. For example, radio waves (on the order of meters) are blocked signifcantly by a metal cage-style bridge.
