The University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy is the only pharmacy school in the state. You can complete pre-pharmacy coursework at UNM or another university before applying to pharmacy school. Currently, 3 years of prerequisite courses are required before applying. After acceptance, it is a 4 year program culminating in a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD).
