The President and HomeworkStudents would love that, but getting rid of homework is not something the president could do. The Congress would have to propose a bill and then each house (the Senate and House of Representatives) would have to vote on it. If it passed both houses of Congress, it would then go to the president, who would either sign it into law or veto it. It's a little more involved than that, but that's generally how it goes. With all the national and International issues to consider, it's highly unlikely that they would ever consider a bill to eliminate homework.

Besides, even though students don't realize it at the time, homework is part of the learning process. It's one of those things that students don't appreciate at the time, but likely will later in life. In fact, if they don't do their homework like they should, they may very well regret it when they get older.
