I too am 16, and looking to find a loan. However, it would seem that's not possible unfortunately. I'm pretty sure that regardless of which side of the Atlantic you're on, 16-year-olds can't sign legal documents, and so the only way to take out a loan would be to do it through a friend who is of age. But anyone with a so-far good credit rating would be stupid to take out a loan for a 16-year-old, whether they are working or not.
Not without an adult's signature and guarentee on the loan.
no, as a loan requires credit, and you cannot have credit until the age of 18. Your PARENTS can, though.
You have to ask the teens school about it.

Yes, it should be hyphenated like so: sixteen-year-old boys.
No, a sixteen year old can not legally move out on their own in Kentucky. Unless the sixteen year old is married or has parental permission they have to live with the parent until they are 18.
It would depend on the state or country. In the US taking a sixteen year old on holiday (across state lines) May be illegal. The age for sexual consent is usually 16, but taking a 16 year old without the parents consent may be kidnapping.
