If you are really determined to go to Area 51, the place to start in Las Vegas. Many of the hotels have tours to Area 51, nice comfy junkets out into the desert. Or, you can drive yourself; head north out of Las Vegas on US I-95 and you will find a thriving tourist industry to support your journey and provide information and sustenance.

I don't think so. The military took this "aircraft" and we never saw it again Area 51 did not exist at this time. The Roswell incident happen in 1947, but Area 51 wasn't built until the 1950s but still there was secret government agents and government personnel at the time.
area 51 is labeled by the year an extraterrestrial craft crashed there a research facility was built around the crash site. today it is a testing area for new aircraft and it still houses the remains of that alien ship.
