A woman who has received a testimony of Jesus and enjoys the spirit of revelation. A prophetess does not hold the priesthood or its keys. Though only a few women in the scriptures are called prophetesses, many prophesied, such as Rebekah, Hannah, Elisabeth, and Mary.
Miriam was called a prophetess, Ex. 15: 20. Deborah was called a prophetess, Judg. 4: 4. Huldah was called a prophetess, 2 Kgs. 22: 14 (2 Chr. 34: 22). Anna was called a prophetess, Luke 2: 36.
The King James Version of the Bible does not explicitly mention the role of a woman preacher. However, there are verses that some interpret as limiting women's leadership roles in the church.
Wycliff was the first. His preacher boys would go across the English country side, reciting the parts of the Bible they had memorized to the farmers and workers. There were also hand written copies of the Wycliff Bible. The first published Bible came later, in the Tyndale translation.

Fundamentalist Christians are those who take what it says in the Bible quite literally and without question. If St. Paul tells women to wear their hair long (which he does) they wear their hair long. A preacher is someone who lectures or speaks to groups about religion--in this case about fundamentalist Christianity. Such a preacher is likely to get very excited when he lectures and to hold a floppy Bible in one hand at all times, so he can refer to it in his speech.
