How can Roe v. Wade be reversed?

There are three ways Roe v. Wade, (1973) can be overturned:

1. Since Roe vs. Wade was a Supreme Court decision, the Supreme Court can effectively overturn the decision by ruling against abortion in a future case.
2. Congress can pass legislation protecting the fetus from the moment of conception (There are usually several bills addressing this issue in committee during each Congressional term. The 111th Congress (current) includes three House Resolutions and one Senate bill.).
3. Congress and the states can amend the Constitution to include the definition of "person" to include the unborn (this is the least likely scenario).

There is only one way to reverse it but if Obama can replace one of the conservative Supreme Court judges with one of his, then it will not happen. Roe vs Wade was an indefensible decision which will fall if there is one more conservative judge on the Supreme Court. The democrat party is hell bent on preventing that.

Just a little FYI; when the latest judge on the US Supreme Court retired and a new one came in, they made a statement that regardless of who was on board and their political beliefs, Roe vs Wade would never be reversed.

A President gets to nominate new justices of the Supreme Court as old ones retire (or die in office). If Romney were to become President, he could then nominate conservative judges to the Supreme Court, and eventually we would see more conservative decisions being made by that court. These decisions could include the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
