There is no good, justifiable reason as to why he was put on the twenty dollar bill ahead of other Presidents. He was the one who fought so hard to kill the nation bank and when he finally had it defeated, he decided to make it suffer. He is also responsible for the blatant genocide of thousands of native Americans. He openly deified a Supreme Court ruling (see Worcester v. Georgia) by send 7,000 troops to round up the natives and removed from this nation. He should have been impeached, but instead we put his face on a federal reserve (national bank) note. That's pure irony.

I don't believe that Thomas Jefferson ever appeared on a twenty dollar bill. Andrew Jackson has been the portrait on the US twenty dollar bill since 1928. Jefferson does appear on the two dollar bill, and has since 1918 (and also from 1869 to 1874).
