For the car to start moving, it has to have a force applied to it. Once it is moving, and assuming frictional forces can be ignored, it will continue to move in a straight line.

So, you need something to get it started, and you are not allowed to use gravity, electricity, a motor running on combustible liquids or having someone pushing/pulling it? Mmm.

Is wind power allowed? Put a sail on top of your car and let the unbalanced pressure of the air on each side of the sail provide a net force.

Solar power usess electricity so I guess that's not allowed?

Getting a little extreme, but what about solar pressure? This is the momentum converyed to an object from photons of light. It is the same principle that explains why the tails of comets always point away from the sun. The momentum is so small, it wouldn't get your car moving very fast however!!!

How can forces act?

Forces can act by pushing or pulling on an object, causing it to accelerate or change its motion. They can be gravity pulling an object down, a person pushing a box, or a magnetic force attracting iron objects. Forces can also act at a distance without physical contact, such as with electromagnetic or gravitational forces.

What is the exercise that involve pushing and pulling against an immovable object?

Isometric exercise involves pushing and pulling against an immovable object without joint movement. It helps strengthen muscles without changing their length.

How can a boat move without us pushing pulling or touching it?

wind or moving water

How does a rollercoaster move on its tracks without an engine pulling or pushing ìt?

Going downhill, it's gravity. Going up long grades, there's a chain which grabs onto a hook on the bottom of the lead car.

Could you weigh yourself on a scale without gravity?

No, a scale measures weight, which is the force of gravity pulling you toward the center of the Earth. Without gravity, there would be no weight to measure.

What is the concept of a catapult?

The concept of it is to fling heavy stuff far without a lot of effort of pushing it or pulling it

When does an object reach its terminal velocity?

An object reaches its terminal velocity when the force of gravity pulling it down is equal to the air resistance pushing it up. At this point, the object stops accelerating and falls at a constant speed without gaining more velocity.

How do you move a hand made vehicle without pushing or pulling it?

carry it Unless you also hand-made an engine for the vehicle.

What Weight in a gravity-less environment?

In a gravity-less environment, an object would have no weight because there is no gravity pulling it down. Weight is the force of gravity acting on an object, so without gravity, there is no weight.

What does gravity do for the world?

Gravity is a force of attration. It is a pulling matter.Gravity holds up the earth without gravity we would be having comets every single day ,it holds things in place.

Why does an object suspend in a liquid?

An object suspends in a liquid when the density of the object is equal to the density of the liquid. This results in a condition where the buoyant force pushing up on the object is equal to the force of gravity pulling it down, allowing it to remain suspended in the liquid without sinking or floating.

We know that the gravitational force of the earth pulls objects down we see them fallin down but don't see objects moving up Why?

Objects fall down due to the force of gravity pulling them towards the Earth's center. Objects don't appear to move up on their own because they need a force stronger than gravity, such as a person or a machine, to counteract gravity and lift them up. Without such a force, objects will naturally fall towards the Earth.
