which brings me to your question - it is a big decision to commit yourself to the us armed forces, when you enter the us naval academy that is what you are doing commiting yourself to the us navy or marines in exchange for an education that would be worth 1/4 of a million $. the decision should be yours - you wouldn't do as well if you were forced, so make sure it is what YOU truly want after that keep in mind the dedication it will take, the service academies have competition comparable to Ivy League schools like Harvard.
