If you are drawing an imaginary person, try to look at your own or someone else's face and notice details on people's faces. Notice how slight curves and facial structure age a person. Make sure that most of it is shading, not hard lines. Really practice and if there is facial expressions, make sure you draw all the cheekbone lines, (like if they are laughing or smiling) and eyebrow curves, facial structure lines, etc. Drawing faces can be difficult, but the more you do it, the easier it gets. Remember that it is easier if you do the basic structure of the face first, and then add detail piece by piece. Drawing faces will be much easier after practice.
