There is no such thing as a platoon in the Air Force. The basic organization within the Air Force is called a Squadron. That said, many (but not all) military installations throughout the DoD have what is called a Base Locator phone number. It can be used to locate specific personnel, or it can also be used to contact the member's Squadron Commander or First Sergeant.

The Air Force. There is a provision for the Secretary of the Air Force to appoint Warrant Officers - however, the Air Force simply does not. The Air Force stopped appointing Warrant Officers in 1959. The last Warrant Officer in the active duty Air Force retired in 1980, and the last Warrant Officer in the Air Force Reserve retired in 1992.

There are over 1200 police officers in the Tasmanian police force. The force was established in the year 1899. Presently the 1200 officers serve a population of about 500,000 people.
That would depend on which Army or Air Force the unit was. -In a flying unit of a modern Air force there would be many officers as aircrew. In an Infantry unit there may be only a small percentage of officers.
